DJ Joe Mfalme Arrested: Connection to DCI Officer’s Death Unveiled

Popular Disc Jockey (DJ) Joseph Mwenda Munoru, known as DJ Joe Mfalme, along with three individuals believed to be law enforcement officers, has been arrested following the death of Deputy DCIO Felix Kitosi Kelian. The tragic incident unfolded after a minor traffic accident near Kikuyu Police Station on March 16, 2024, at approximately 4:00 in the morning.

According to reports, the altercation began when Kitosi was allegedly involved in a non-injury traffic accident within Kikuyu market. However, Kitosi’s family contends that he was assaulted at a nightclub in Kiambu after accidentally scratching Mfalme’s car in the parking lot. This led to a confrontation with nightclub bouncers, who reportedly subjected Kitosi to severe beatings before turning him over to the Kikuyu Police Station, where further assaults allegedly occurred at the hands of police officers.

The nightclub’s management has vehemently denied that the incident took place on their premises, suggesting that it may have occurred elsewhere. Nonetheless, Kitosi’s family is adamant about seeking justice for their brother and demands answers surrounding his untimely demise.

As the investigation unfolds, Mfalme and the other suspects remain detained at Riruta Police Station in Dagoretti, awaiting their court appearance scheduled for Monday. The tragic incident has sparked outrage and calls for accountability, highlighting the importance of a thorough investigation and the pursuit of justice for all parties involved.
