Amidst the ongoing evolution of X, Elon Musk has spearheaded significant enhancements to the platform’s block feature, notably improving the visibility of replies within its ecosystem.
In a recent update, it has been revealed that if a user blocks you on X but chooses to respond to one of your posts, you’ll now have the ability to view their reply. This adjustment in functionality holds particular significance for users who find themselves blocked by others but have not reciprocated the action.
This transformative change is articulated in a post:
“We are redefining how the block feature operates. If a user who has blocked you replies to one of your posts, you will now be able to see their reply. This enhancement empowers you to identify and report any potentially harmful content that was previously inaccessible, thereby safeguarding both your account and the overall integrity of our platform.
These endeavors reflect our ongoing commitment to aligning the block feature with our principles as a public town square. Our objective is to grant users control over their experience while upholding the public visibility of posts.”
In parallel, X recently unveiled its plans to launch a TV App for Smart TVs, further expanding its reach and accessibility.
