Harambee Stars entered their first residential training today, on Tuesday, June 6, 203, at Kasarani annex ahead of their upcoming four-nations tournament in Mauritius.
The tournament will run from June 11th to 18th, 2023, and will feature hosts Mauritius, Djibouti, and Pakistan.
Most local-based players have checked into camp with the foreign-based players set to join them on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.
Some of the local stars who are in camp include the leading league’s top scorer Benson Omala, the experienced Abud Omar, Leopards stalwart Victor Omune among others.
Stars, will travel to Mauritius for the tournament on June 10, 2023.
The team’s next competitive assignment will be the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, set to kick off between November 13 and November 21, 2023. The draw for the qualification stage shall be conducted on July 12, 2023, in Cotonou, Benin.
