On November 29, 2023, there was commotion outside Milimani Law Courts in Nairobi as police arrested a celebrity, Robert Budi, and his wife Wendy Kimingi for child molestation in Karen Plains estate, Lang’ata.

In a surprising turn, Robert Budi, known for his roles in bodybuilding and media, resisted arrest by police but was eventually overpowered. They are set to face charges at Kibera Law Courts.

After the arrest, Budi was handcuffed and taken to Karen Police Station. The couple is accused of being cruel to a child between October 22, 2022, and February 10, 2023. Their court appearance is scheduled for November 30, 2023.

Budi, crowned Mr Kenya in 2018, is not only a bodybuilder but also a popular TV host and actor, notably playing Trevor in Citizen TV’s soap opera “Maria.”
