The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced temporary closures affecting the Nairobi Southern Bypass and Uhuru Highway from December 27, 2023, to January 23, 2024, and December 28, 2023, to January 1, 2024, respectively. The Southern Bypass closure, between Lang’ata and Ngong Interchanges, is for the installation of a Virtual Weighbridge, with one lane closed at a time to minimize disruptions. Five roundabouts along Uhuru Highway will also have partial closures for maintenance. Motorists are urged to follow traffic signs, exercise caution, and plan routes accordingly for a smooth and safe traffic flow during these infrastructure upgrades.
