Kitale-bred comedian Kendrick Mulamwah has upgraded from his former Ksh 9,000 bedsitter to a lavish Ksh 70,000 apartment following the arrival of his newborn son with his girlfriend Ruth K.

In a recent interview, Mulamwah disclosed his preference for paying yearly rent over monthly installments to allocate more attention to other endeavors. He attributed his ability to afford the rent to the success of his burgeoning businesses.

Previously, Mulamwah shared that despite having over Ksh 1 million in savings, he resided in a modest apartment where he paid a mere Ksh 9,000 in rent. He emphasized the value of money instilled in him by his humble background, emphasizing the importance of financial prudence and mindful spending habits.

The comedian underscored his cautious approach to expenditure, noting that he prioritizes ensuring financial stability for himself and his family. He stressed the need for a steady income stream before indulging in extravagant lifestyle choices.

Currently, Mulamwah is actively involved in constructing his own home in Kitale, a project he occasionally showcases to his followers to track its progress and development.
