In this collaboration, titled “NAOGOPA,” the maestro behind “Bia Tamu,” Marioo, has teamed up with Tanzanian Bongo Flava artist, music entrepreneur, and Konde Music WorldWide Boss, Harmonize.

Marioo’s latest album, “The Kid You Know,” boasts 17 solid tracks featuring collaborations with renowned Tanzanian artists like Harmonize, Rayvanny, Ali Kiba, and Loui. The international roster includes Nigeria’s Ladipoe, Dunnie, Kenya’s Jovial, and others, showcasing a diverse musical fusion.

The artist claimed on social media that he had lived peacefully with Anjella ever since he signed her.

“I’M HERE WATCHING SOME PEOPLE TALKING * ABOUT ME & MY SISTER ANJELLA. I DON’T REALLY CARE, LOL. ITS FUNNY THAT WHEN I SUPPORTED HER, RESPECTED HER AS MY SISTER AND NOT TOUCHING HER BEHIND LIKE OTHER ARTISTES DO WHEN THEY GIVE THEM MONEY DO, NO ONE SAID ANYTHING,” he wrote.

Harmonize went on to narrate that he signed her when she was almost giving up and people never said anything.

“Nilikutana Na Anjella Akiwa Amejikatia Tamaa Akiwa Na Ndoto Kichwani Sikujiangalia Ninakiasi Gan; Niliamini Kwakuwa watu Wapo Wanani Support Bila Kuwalipa Sent 5 Basi Wata Support Kipaji Cha Sister ANJELLA.” (I met Anjella when she only had a dream in her head and was almost giving up. I knew there are people who support me free of charge, then they will support Anjella’s talent)

Before adding;

“I looked at her dreams, especially being a female artiste. I have done my best, I know there are people who have much potential than I do, putting into consideration that I just started.”

Harmonize also rubbished claims that he has asked for money from Anjella before leaving the label. He asked anyone who’d like to help her music career to do so.

“If there’s anyone who’s able to continue supporting her talent, it will be joy to me and that person shouldn’t hesitate. Ignore rumours that claim that I am asking her for money, I have never asked even a cent from her.”

Anjella’s exit comes weeks after two other signees, Cheed and Killy also left Harmonize’s label.

Kings Music is a record label founded by Alikiba after his fallout with RockStar Africa back in 2020.

Speaking about the new signing Kiba noted that he is banking on Vanilla’s talent to propel him to the next level as far as his music is concerned.

“Welcome to the Family, my brother @Vanillahmusic Naamini katika kipaji Chako, Listen To Me EP Rasmi itaanza Kupatikana jioni hii Digital Platform zote Worldwide,” King Kiba wrote.

On the other hand, Vanilla said that he is happy to be joining Kings Music to advance his music career.

“Katika nchi iliyobarikiwa na vipaji vikubwa ni baraka kubwa kwangu kwa kuaminiwa na @OfficialAlikiba pamoja na uongozi mzima wa @kingsmusicrecords pamoja na familia nzima ya KINGS MUSIC haikua rahisi kuwa hapa leo lakini ni Kweli Ndoto hutimia sina budi kushukuru kwa upendo huu Kwa mashabiki wa muziki,” Vanillah shared.

Vanillah has been introduced to the music industry complete with an EP that has 6 songs.

Currently, Alikiba manages three other stars – K2ga , Tommy Flavor, and his brother AbduKiba.

Previously he also managed singers Killy and Cheed but they ditched his record Label in 2020 to join Harmonize’s camp – Konde Music Worldwide. However, Killy and Cheed again parted ways with Konde Gang in what Konde Boy termed an amicable agreement.

Since 2009 after completing his secondary school education, Harmonize is living in Dar es Salaam. Sometimes, he is referred to as Konde Boy referring to his Makonde heritage.
