The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) is undergoing a major transformation by migrating all its services to the E-Citizen Platform, in accordance with the government’s directive to centralize access to various services through a unified portal. This move is expected to bring about a revolutionary change in service delivery for motor vehicle owners and stakeholders associated with NTSA. To ensure a smooth transition, NTSA is urging its clients to validate their E-Citizen accounts, with a temporary shutdown of the TIMS portal during the onboarding process. Virtual training sessions have been conducted to assist stakeholders in familiarizing themselves with the E-Citizen platform. The official Go-Live is scheduled for January 2, 2024, and only E-Citizen login credentials will be operational thereafter. The migration is a significant step towards modernizing and streamlining NTSA services, aligning with the government’s commitment to enhancing efficiency in public service delivery and providing a more accessible and centralized platform for stakeholders in the transportation and safety sectors.
