Former President Uhuru Kenyatta was among notable figures attending the wedding of Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka’s daughter, Damarie Saada Kalonzo, and Martin Nyaga on Saturday, December 6. The private ceremony took place at Enashipai Resort in Naivasha and featured prominent politicians, including Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, DAP-K leader Eugene Wamalwa, and others.
Kalonzo, a former vice president, blessed the couple and urged them to center their marriage on biblical principles, referencing Proverbs 24:3-4. He also thanked Uhuru for attending and showing solidarity with his family.
While Damarie has largely remained out of the public eye, her brother Kennedy is active in politics, representing Kenya in the East African Legislative Assembly. Kalonzo’s wife, Pauline, did not attend the ceremony due to her long-term medical treatment in Europe.
