Detention of Andrew Tate and Brother in Romania: UK Arrest Warrant Issued

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan find themselves detained in Romania following the issuance of European arrest warrants by the UK authorities. The allegations against them, spanning from 2012 to 2015, involve charges of sexual aggression and exploiting individuals in Great Britain.

In response to these accusations, the Tate brothers’ representative issued a statement vehemently denying all charges, asserting their categorical rejection of the allegations. According to the statement, the brothers are deeply troubled and dismayed by the revival of decade-old accusations, expressing profound disappointment at the serious charges being brought forth without substantial new evidence.

Romanian police confirmed that European arrest warrants were issued for the two men on charges of sexual offenses, leading to their presentation before the prosecutor attached to the Bucharest Court of Appeal. Subsequently, the court ordered their detention for 24 hours. The court is expected to make a decision on whether to execute the arrest mandate on Tuesday.

The representative for the social media influencer emphasized the brothers’ full commitment to challenging the accusations with unwavering determination and resolve. The arrest warrant, seen as a surprising resurgence of old allegations, has prompted the brothers to address the situation with a strong denial and a readiness to contest the charges through the legal process.
