Social commentator Andrew Kibe recently shared his thoughts on the recent news about Sauti Sol’s breakup on his YouTube channel. According to Kibe, he believes that the boy band’s decision to part ways is influenced by the women in their lives.
Kibe further elaborated on his perspective, suggesting that the band had become emotionally dependent on these women, leading to a weakening of their unity over time. As a result, they have reached a point where they can no longer sustain their collaboration. Sauti Sol had announced their plans to go their separate ways after concluding their US tour, leaving their fans disappointed by the news.
Kibe asserts that once Sauti Sol members pursue their solo careers, they may struggle to maintain their relevance, as people were drawn to their collective identity as a band rather than their individual personas.
Interestingly, a few months ago, Kibe expressed a different perspective in a video on his YouTube channel. At that time, he believed that Sauti Sol as a group was holding back Bien, suggesting that if he aspired to rise and establish a notable presence across the continent, he would need to part ways with the band.
