The Upper Eastern Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Coordinator, Lenny Kisaka, has confirmed that detectives are conducting investigations at the home of Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza in connection with the murder of Meru blogger Daniel Muthiani, also known as sniper. The operation, involving officers from the homicide department at the DCI headquarters in Nairobi, aims to gather relevant evidence in the advanced stage of the investigation.

Kisaka emphasized the focus on facts and urged the public to remain calm, assuring that updates would be communicated through the media. The governor’s home is one of several places being investigated, and the DCI plans to visit other locations in the county in the coming days.
